Forecast how readers are likely to respond to your manuscript across Goodreads, BookTok, Reddit, and more, all before you commit to launch strategy, outreach, or marketing spend.
Why It Matters
Before publishers spend on ARCs, influencer outreach, paid marketing, or positioning, Galley Forecast helps answer four critical questions:
Who is this book really for?
How will readers likely respond?
What risks should we address before launch?
What should we change before the market sees it?
Features
Five dimensions of actionable intelligence in every forecast, with one more in build.
A projected star rating with the full 1-to-5 distribution behind it, plus every simulated reader’s own rating shown with their age, archetype and platform. Know your number before the first review drops.
See realistic BookTok reactions, Reddit threads, Bookstagram posts, and Goodreads reviews. Understand how readers will talk about your book, and to each other.
Recommended publishers and imprints for indie authors, matched to your genre and comps, is in build.
Dedicated screening of the manuscript for themes likely to divide your readership, and for content that may warrant a sensitivity read. Every finding cites the chapters it came from.
Identify pacing issues, DNF risk points, and the narrative elements most likely to cost you readers. Strengthen your manuscript before it reaches real readers.
Receive a tailored launch plan: optimal timing, platform prioritization, marketing angle recommendations, and specific next steps to maximize your book's trajectory.
How It Works
Upload your manuscript. We simulate the audience. You get the intelligence, and a playbook to act on it.
Upload an EPUB, PDF, or Word document. We analyze narrative structure, themes, pacing, character dynamics, and genre signals, then destroy the source file after processing.
We generate a large synthetic audience modeled around different reading tastes, review styles, and platform behaviors to forecast likely reception patterns.
Get a comprehensive intelligence report: predicted ratings, simulated social posts, launch recommendations, and specific manuscript feedback, usually within the hour.
You receive a practical playbook with recommended positioning, platform priorities, launch angles, and manuscript considerations based on your forecast.

IP Protection
Your manuscript is processed, then permanently destroyed. No copies, no backups, no exceptions.
Your content is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. We use API providers with contractual no-training guarantees.
Your chapters are summarised by our AI provider, and most of the forecast is generated from those summaries. The second reading pass is the exception: it works from the full chapters, and every forecast includes it.
Built for publishers who can't afford to compromise on intellectual property. Every architectural decision prioritizes your manuscript's security over our convenience.
Pricing
Every manuscript gets the full diagnostic. Publishers running a catalog can talk to us about Enterprise.
“Is this a concept problem, or an execution problem, and which chapters do I fix?”
This was a three-tier comparison. With one forecast on offer, everything below ships in every report.
Upload a manuscript and see what Galley Forecast reveals about your next title.
